Welcome to the First Baptist Church of Grand Junction web site
First Baptist Church is an historic church with a contemporary voice in the community. While the congregation is older, its mission and ministry seek to meet the complexity of postmodern contimporary life. Sunday worship includes challenging Bible based preaching, blended
music, and attention to what it means to be a seeker after Truth in the context of the Christian faith. FBCGJ has a vibrant music ministry. PACE, the church's youth group, meets weekly. An open gym is scheduled weekly for community members. FBCGJ has many partnerships, including local missions, R5 High School, and Young Life. The congregation believes in the stewardship of the building God has given and therefore offers space to a myriad of organizations. In the summer of 2011 FBCGJ will become the first green church in the valley, converting to solar. You are more than welcome to join us for any of our activities.
